ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
Hi! I’m Kevin J. Nguyen
With experience across major media platforms, I bridge the gap between businesses and audiences by translating cultural insights into work that makes people feel seen, heard, and valued.
Storytelling and creativity has always been core to who I am. As a child, my favorite pastime involved watching fantastical adventures of underdogs onscreen. Constantly inspired by the triumphs of the protagonists, I would reimagine these worlds as if I were among them and create my own fresh take on the existing narratives.
As I grew older, I was confronted with a harsh reality, one that didn’t quite reflect the heroic stories I had been so familiar with. The underdog doesn’t always win. Not all voices are deemed equal. Countless beautiful stories are lost in a sea of noise and distraction everyday.
A fire ignited within me. I made it my life’s mission to elevate underrepresented narratives so they can be seen, heard, and valued. I’ve made a career out of telling stories through media, working for companies like Jubilee Media, BuzzFeed, Snap Inc, and YouTube. I’ve directed and produced hundreds of digital content amassing billions of views worldwide. I’ve also written and directed BLUE SUIT, an independent short film with official selection from twenty-two film festivals across North America. Since then, the film has been distributed online through Wong Fu Productions.
Throughout my career, I’ve successfully positioned narratives to connect with vast audiences, especially those that often felt left out. In my latest adventure, I’ve launched my own brand and content marketing consultancy where I partner with businesses to bridge the gap between their brand and genuine connection through the power of storytelling.
Authenticity, honesty, and heart ground me. As your guide, we’ll build the brand you’ve always dreamed of, centering human connection through meaningful storytelling.
